What is PriceSense?

PriceSense checks product pages you add and notifies you by email, app push, or Slack on Pro when the visible price changes. It is aimed at small shops watching competitors, and it also works for a personal watch list.

How does PriceSense work?

You create a product, paste one or more seller URLs, and pick a check interval your plan allows. We fetch the page on that schedule. If the price changed since the last successful check, you get an alert.

Why not just ask ChatGPT?

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, and Perplexity can run on a schedule. A chat can keep an old price. A shop can still block the visit. A small file tells bots to stay away. That file is called robots.txt, and these chatbots usually obey it. They also visit from another country, so the price may come back in euros, dollars, or pounds. A blocked visit can still come back with a price. The page may also show more than one. Why an LLM is not a price crawl.

Is PriceSense free to use?

Yes. The Free plan tracks 1 product across 3 sellers, once a week, with no price history. Premium and Pro add daily checks, more products, and history. See pricing.

How often do you check prices?

Accepted Answer

Weekly on Free. Daily on Premium and Pro. We do not offer hourly or real-time checks.

Can I track prices from any website?

Accepted Answer

Usually, if the product page is public and the price is visible without logging in. Amazon, Bol, Coolblue, eBay, Walmart, and most Shopify stores work. Some sites block automated checks; we mark those listings as unreachable.

How do alerts work?

Accepted Answer

Alerts fire when we see a price change, or when a page that had a price no longer does. Every plan can turn email and push on or off. Pro can also post those alerts to one Slack channel through an incoming webhook. On Pro, each seller can alert on rises, drops, or both, with an optional percent or amount. Do you enforce MAP or watch stock?

No. You can look at advertised prices yourself and decide if a listing is too low. We do not collect stock, shipping, or legal evidence packs, and we do not send enforcement letters.

Do you have a mobile app?

Yes — iOS and Android. You can add products and receive push alerts there. Billing can also go through the app stores.
